Connecting and inspiring for nearly 100 yearsIn 1922, Ruth Fairfax was appointed founding President of The Queensland Country Women’s Association (QCWA). Formed on values of enabling the women of Queensland to come together to support communities, while celebrating their interests and forging friendships in a respectful and caring environment; the QCWA has been a beacon of friendship and engagement for almost 100 years. Throughout the decade’s women across Queensland’s rural, regional and remote towns as well as cities have banded together to share ideas, skills, knowledge and friendship.
