QCWA is proud to announce the reopening of our Morven Branch! After a public meeting was held in the area, several women have put their hand up to reform this fantastic community group. After a small break, Morven Branch is ready to get back to helping their local community and forming lifelong friendships between their members. If you live in the area, make sure that you stop by the next meeting and see what they have been up to.
Morven is a small town in South West Queensland and located on the Warrego Highway 665 kilometres west of Brisbane. The town area was taken from the property of Victoria Downs and set aside for public use in 1859. Morven has an interesting historical museum and a number of heritage listed sites and is well worth listing as “a place to visit” on your bucket list.
